The pawn shop

07/10/2014 09:06:57: Sandeep: Sometimes the whole thing reminds me of visiting a pawn shop .. After you said you did not want to see me anymore I have been visiting it every day . I bring lil trinkets to hawk every day. Sometimes a beautiful strand of pearls full of little memories from a long holiday taken together.. Sometimes it's moment in time when we just had a laugh or shared a moment together .. Each with it's own significance and it's own little sparkle .. You evaluate each with a stony silence and an unsmiling face .. Turn it over in your hands and put it in the little drawer by your side . My hopeful eyes look on at you and realise the price offered is not the extravagant sum of my dreams but a quiet dismissal..
